Hello!
I’ve submitted our solution, everything works, just would like to make sure - in my (docker) submissions in the ‘Review run’ I clicked “Publish Run” on the docker container runs (on val and smoke test) that I would like to be my final submission. Is it correct or do I have do something else?
Thank you for your answer!
Kind regards,
Anastasia
Dear Anastasia,
Thanks for all your work!
No, you do not need to publish the submissions.
It is enough when you describe in your notebook paper that you submit to easychair how your approaches are named (you can rename them), this way, the organizers who write the overview paper after the notebook papers are submitted can make the mapping on which submissions are important and which not to create a final evaluation.
In case there are questions or problems, we will reach out
Best regards,
Maik

Dear Maik,
Thank you for your answers, got it! Will we obtain evaluation results for all our submissions before the paper submission deadline in order to understand which of our approaches performed the best?
Kind regards,
Anastasia

Dear Anastansia,
it might be that the complete evaluation is not ready for the review version of the notebook that you submit to easychair. Some datasets are still in the creation and not ready yet, so it might be that the final evaluation becomes only available shortly after you submit your paper.
So please prepare the notebook so that it also “works” when the evaluation is not final. Ideally, the main focus of the notebook paper is to ensure that others can understand the idea/concept of your approach, thereby, this complements the overview paper that the organizers will create that contains the complete evaluation picture. (You already see the results of your approaches on the validation data, so you can incorporate this into your notebook, for the camera ready version, we will share the complete evaluation with you.)
Best regards,
Maik
