Query Regarding Task Deadlines, Submission Guidelines, and Data Availability – Touché 2026

Dear Touché 2026 Organizing Team,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Shivam, and I am a registered participant for the CLEF 2026 Touché Task 1 - Fallacy Detection . I am writing to seek clarification on a few important points regarding the task participation process.

  1. IMPORTANT DATES
Could you please provide or confirm the complete timeline for SimpleText 2026, specifically:

    • Run/result submission deadline
    • Draft working notes paper submission deadline
    • Camera-ready paper deadline
    • Date when results/scores will be made available to participants
    • Any other important milestones we should be aware of
  2. SUBMISSION PLATFORMS & PROCESS
    Could you clarify

3. PAPER ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
Regarding the working notes paper:

  • What is the minimum page length required?
  • Is there a review/acceptance process, or are all submitted papers accepted?
  • What template should we use (CEUR-WS)?
  • Will papers be reviewed by peers or only by the organizers?
  1. DATA AVAILABILITY
    Regarding the 2026 task data:
    • Is the new 2026 test data already available, or is it still being prepared?

Thank you very much for your time and for organizing this track. I look forward to your response and to contributing to the Touché 2026 community.

Best regards,
Shivam
CLEF 2026 Touché Task 1 - Fallacy Detection Participant

Thanks Shivam for reaching out!

The deadlines for the fallacy detection task are here: Touché at CLEF 2026 - Fallacy Detection

Specifically, the deadline for run submissions are May 21, 2026 (the other deadlines are mentioned there as well).

For the submission: please upload your runs here: https://www.tira.io/task-overview/fallacy-detection/

I think there are no requirements on the minimum paper length, there is a review process, but it is a positive review process. The paper template is CEUR-WS. Usually, papers are reviewed by organizers and people that are invited by the organizers, so if you want to review, please reach out, we would be happy

The data is still in the final polishing stage, I hope that we can realease the data very soon.

Best regards,

Maik

Dear Touché 2026 Organizing Team,

when i open TIRA / i get error so please can you help me

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience!

There is currently a problem with the Ceph Storage in the cluster, we already look into this.

Please note that TIRA is only used for run submissions, so you do not need it at the moment, as you only upload your results when you are finished.

Best regards,

Maik
